Dentisept gel is manufactured by Pharmaple. The main ingredient present in Dentisept gel is Benzydamine HCL 1%. Benzydamine works in the throat or mouth to help stop pain and inflammation (redness, swelling and a feeling of heat). It does this by stopping the formation of prostaglandins.
It is contraindicated in patients with known Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed. A proper prescription is not required for its usage. It should be stored at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight.
